Biographical Summary

Laura and Don Braswell are the founders and owners of
The Learning Curve Training Group, Inc., a woman-owned
small business based in Lithia Springs, Georgia.  They
have developed and presented courses in accounting, law,
budgeting, communications, customer service, and sales
topics.

After a successful 22-year career with The Coca-Cola
Company in Atlanta, Don took an early retirement to
pursue a career in consulting in 1988.  While with
Coca-Cola, he advanced to project manager in the
computer department and then held management
positions in training, budgeting, and planning for the
Fountain Sales Department.  Since 1988, he has trained
Federal employees in accounting, budgeting and
appropriations law.  He has developed and presented
"agency specific material" for the U.S. Army, Federal
Bureau of Investigation, U. S. Air Force, and The
Immigration and Naturalization Service.  Additionally, he
has developed and presented multi day sales,
management and people skills training courses for such
national companies as Hewlett Packard, Georgia Pacific,
and Bell South.
Laura joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1982 as a Customer Service Analyst.  Rapidly
promoted through several positions of increased responsibility, she trained entry level
clerical personnel in the "soft skills" such as proper telephone techniques and handling
irate customers.  She became supervisor of a "new employee" training program.  After six
years, she voluntarily left to pursue a career in outside sales and sales training.  Laura
became a successful salesperson and taught courses on interpersonal relations,
management and organization for salespeople and support staff.  Since 1994, she has
worked with the Graduate School, U.S. Department of Agriculture in developing and
presenting courses in time management, stress management, presentation techniques,
customer service and communications skills to the federal government.

In 1996, they co-founded The Learning Curve to provide quality instruction for both the
private and public sectors.  They have developed, sold, and presented courses including
"Exceptional Customer Service," "Gender Communications," "Managing the Gender Gap,"
"Better Briefing Techniques," "Telephone Techniques" and "Power Presentations."  The
Company has successfully won multi-year contracts with federal agencies for course
development and presentation.  Together they have taught over 300 courses to over
17,000 attendees.

Laura received her education from Mercer University.  Don is a graduate of The University
of Georgia with a BBA Degree in accounting and Georgia State University with an MBA in
management.  He retired after a 30 year career with the United States Army Reserve.
